A brief resumé :
I trained as a Counsellor back in 1999 after experiencing the benefits of counselling myself and worked voluntarily within the NHS and at a counselling centre seeing a broad spectrum of clients. Later, after training as an assessor I started working privately and I also work for EAPs.
Here are a few comments clients have made:
"You really helped me. I can't thank you enough, I really mean it, you gave me my life back. "
"I could talk to you, you didn't judge, you listened. I still not sure how it worked, but with your help I feel so much better. "
"Wish I had come before. "
Within the first session there is a short form that I am obliged to fill in to comply with the BACP Code of Ethics. You can then decide where to start, what you want to talk about and we take things from there.

“I would like to make it very plain that these are learnings which have significance for me. I do not know whether they would hold true for you. I have no desire to present them as a guide for anyone else. Yet I have found that when another person has been willing to tell me something of his inner directions this has been of value to me, if only in sharpening my realization that my directions are different.”
